Cockerel: this breed, unlike the broiler, don’t grow fast. the cockerel is raised for its meat also. The interesting thing about this breed is that it can adapt to a harsh environment.

Layers: The layers are poultry breed raise for their eggs only. Although, you can eat their meats however they are mainly bred for egg production breeds for commercial purposes only.
