A freelancer is someone who renders services in a freelance platform and is contracted to buyers for short terms jobs.

Below is a list of popular websites you can register with and get freelance jobs from any part of the world you reside in.

Once you are registered as a freelancer in any of these websites, you will then create a freelance profile.

This is your portfolio. And this is how buyers reach out to you. Through your portfolio buyers will know the kind of service you render as a freelancer.

You don’t need to get a professional certificate to get certain freelance jobs online. There are professional and non-professional jobs you can do on these freelancing websites.

For instance, a typing job on Fiverr does not require you to own a professional certificate; what you really need is your ability to create a good gig that can appear in Fiverr Search engine and is appealing to buyers. If a buyer likes your gig he will definitely contact you.

During renewals, Bluehost pricing can climb up to $8 per month for the basic plan and some people might not be able to afford it.

Notwithstanding, if you don’t have the funds to start a blog, you can easily start a free blog at Blogger until you can afford to pay for one.

You can easily make money with your blog by monetizing with AdSense, promoting products and services as an affiliate marketer, and offering space for an advert on your blog.

4. Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is a legitimate work from home job that really pays. You can either recommend products or services to the general public and make money in the process.

There are several businesses that sell products or renders services online; you can make good money working from the comfort of your home by becoming an affiliate marketer that promotes their product or services for commissions.

As an affiliate marketer, businesses you are signed up with rewards you based on your performance.

For each visitor or customer referred by your marketing effort that uses a service or buys a product from a business you are affiliated to, you get a commission.

For example, you can request to be an affiliate marketer for Jumia. All you will have to do is refer people to Jumia and get a commission when they buy a product.

Similarly, Payoneer is a financial services company that provides online money transfer and digital payment services to its users worldwide.

First and foremost you will register an account on a paid survey website and with that, you will be able to take a survey on regular consumer products and you earn certain commissions after completing a survey.

Unlike other countries where you can earn well from taking several paid Surveys, in Nigeria paid survey companies are quite new and there is only a handful of them in the country. To earn reasonable money you need to register with several paid survey websites.

Note that this is a side hustle; there are just a few paid survey sites in Nigeria. So it is advisable to add another source of income to the paid survey jobs you do.
