To transfer money to another Stanbic IBTC account:

  • dial *909*11*AMOUNT*ACCOUNT NUMBER#. For example, if you want to send ₦10,000 to someone, simply dial *909*11*10000*1234567890#
  • Select the recipient bank from the list of banks and press send on your mobile phone.
  • Confirm to see if the name you see on your phone screen tally with the name of the recipient you want to send money to.
  • Enter your USSD banking PIN to authenticate the transfer.

To transfer money to other banks in Nigeria (non-Stanbic IBTC account holders)

  • dial *909*22*AMOUNT*ACCOUNT NUMBER#. For example, if you want to send ₦10,000 to someone, simply dial *909*11*10000*1234567890#
  • Select the recipient bank from the list of banks and press send on your mobile phone.
  • Confirm to see if the name you see on your phone screen tally with the name of the recipient you want to send money to.
  • Enter your USSD banking PIN to authenticate the transfer.

After following the above steps, you will get a debit alert from Stanbic IBTC bank to confirm your transfer.

To register for a Stanbic IBTC PIN, dial *909*1*7# on the phone number you use to open your Stanbic IBTC Bank Account. That is your Stanbic IBTC alert sim for all your banking transactions and follow all the on-screen instructions afterward.

Alternatively, you can follow these steps:

  • On your mobile phone dial *909#.
  • Select 1,
  • Select 7 which is the option to register for a PIN.
  • Create a 4 digit pin, then follow the other on-screen instructions.
